Module content
Lectures:

1. Definitions and concepts – during the course the student will learn and acquire basic definitions and concepts in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility CSR.
2. History – the development of the idea of ​​CSR both in the country and in the world as well as its impact on the evolution of EU and national documents and strategies will be discussed.
3. Methodology, impact areas, indicators and principles of assessment – an impact area defined on the basis of the ISO 26000 project will be presented, CSR methodologies, one of the most important CSR reporting tools – GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) indicators and principles assessment.
4. CSR companies in Poland and in the world – socially responsible companies and the area of ​​their social activity will be discussed, both domestic and foreign, eg Telekomunikacja Polska (Employee Volunteering, Greet IT …), UPPC Polska (Akademia e-seniora, Zielony Rok) or GlaxoSmithKline (Ray of the day, I have a hook for cancer, Orange Day)

Auditorium classes:

1. The impact of CSR on companies – practical exercises will allow the student to see the impact of corporate social responsibility on its competitive position on the market and in their future work to strive to introduce CSR in their new workplace.
2. Identification of necessary changes – the student will be mobilized for creative thinking. The student’s task will be to identify the necessary changes in the company.
3. Project: Enterprise development towards CSR – based on lectures and exercises, the student’s task will be to prepare a development project for any company to become a socially responsible company.

Method of calculating the final grade:

1. Ratings:
- improvement of the unsatisfactory grade is possible twice;
- assessment of passing, in the case of receiving a negative assessment in the statutory period, is calculated as an arithmetic average.

2. The final grade from the module is calculated on the basis of a positive summary summarizing the exercises (60%) and a positive grade from the test (40%). The summary assessment of the exercises is calculated on the basis of the project and activity during the class.
