Module summary

The main aim of the lecture is to present general knowledge about the wide range of possibilities provided by different research and development projects at the national and European levels. Particular attention is put on possibilities offered by the National Science Center in financing early stage researchers (e.g. Preludium). Practical case studies (e.g. preparation of abstract, scientific goals, literature review, time line, budget) based on research proposals will discussed.

  2. Rules and good practice guides in proposal preparation
  3. Basis of project management
  4. Preparation of the project summary and project outline for e.g. Preludium scheme
  5. Preparation of the project tasks, budget and schedules
  6. Analysis and evaluation of the proposal in terms of formal requirements
